We should count our blessings every time we, or our loved ones, fill our bellies, say a prayer for the millions of disadvantaged people who are struggling to have food for their hunger and finally answer that prayer by making a donation, or buying some foods and filling the bellies of the hungry, old, needy and disabled, without a job or any other resources to get their food, the most basic need to survive and saving them from the nightmare of hunger.
Feed a needy, old and disabled
Just feeding the hungry, we are giving them hope that someone truly does care about them. If done in a deliberate and organized fashion, a feed the hungry program will not only be a blessing to those that we are feeding, but our self and the volunteers also.
Touching Souls International does give the hope to the needy and disadvantaged. It provided the monthly cost for feeding for many disadvantaged, needy and disabled people of Bangladesh, to buy their food for the month. People who are elderly, very needy or disabled, who does not have any land, does not have any earning member in the family, do not get any kind of government allowances, could be eligible for this help provided by Touching Souls International the goal of which is to feed a hungry.
In New York, on every Saturday,
Touching Souls International feeds 250 to 300 hungry people. Feeding the hungry is work that is eternal.
